Tissue Taffeta is a lightweight, crisp and smooth fabric that is hand-made using power looms using very fine silk threads. This silk has a sheen to it, with very few natural slubs. It is very commonly used in the making of garments and craft work. It is very lightweight (approx 8-9 momm weight), making it easy to sow and work with. It also can be used as a lining.
