POR-15 Self Etch Primer Spray, Adheres to Metal and Painted Surfaces, Gray, 15 Fluid Ounces

The POR-15 Self Etch Primer spray can allows you to topcoat POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating, even if it's been in place for months or years. Unlike POR-15 High Build Primer, it's not a high-build primer, but it can be applied to almost any painted surface and topcoated in 20 to 30 minutes. It bonds exceptionally well to surfaces and all topcoats adhere to it. It can be lightly sanded and multiple coats can be applied if desired.

• ✅ POR-15 SELF ETCH PRIMER - Is formulated to dry quickly and promote adhesion for the coming layers. Proven to bond incredibly well to all top coats. For a superior layer of protection against rust, apply POR-15 Rust prevention coating following self etch primer spray.
• ✅ APPLICATION - All surfaces must be clean and free of all dirt, loose rust, oil, grease, wax, soap, loose paint and any other matter. Shake well before spraying. Spray two light coats of and allow 10 to 15 minutes between coats. Our Self Etch Primer can be topcoated in 30 minutes.
• ✅ INCREDIBLE BOND - Our Self Etch Primer is NOT a high-build primer, but it can be sprayed on almost any painted surface and can be top coated in 20 - 30 minutes. It bonds incredibly well to POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating, and all topcoats bond incredibly well to POR-15 Self Etch Primer. It can be sanded lightly, and if desired, multiple coats may be applied.
• ✅ WHEN DO I NEED THIS? – The etching creates a rougher surface for your topcoat to cling to, much like sanding would accomplish. It adheres well to steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and other primed and painted surfaces.
